Free Introductory Package:  Ideal for a first-time student.  It exposes you to all the elements of the core curriculum and lets you judge the quality of our offerings without risk or obligation!

Private Lessons:  These are key in refining your dancing skills.  With individualized instruction you will learn more quickly and precisely, boosting up your confidence while allowing you to enjoy the sensation of partner dancing!

Group Classes:  A great way to get into dancing!  Among your peers you will learn the fundamentals, patterns and partnering in a friendly, warm and inviting setting.  There are classes for everyone, find the right level for you!  See our Group Dance Schedule.

Practice Parties:  With a mix of dynamic Latin, Ballroom, and Disco music, students get to practice all they have been learning, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.  Light refreshments are served!

[ Free Introductory Package ]

For a first-time student, the Free Introductory Package is a great way to start.  It exposes you to all the elements of the core curriculum and lets you judge the quality of our offerings without risk or obligation.  The Free Introductory Package includes one private evaluation lesson, one group lesson and one practice party.  During your 55-minute evaluation private lesson, your instructor will introduce you to a couple of different dances, helping you feel comfortable and relaxed on the dance floor.  He or she will evaluate your goals and abilities, and be able to recommend an appropriate course of study.  You may also have one free Group Lesson and one free Practice Party of your choice, from our Group Class Schedule.  Register now to reserve your Free Introductory Package, 301 910 8668

[ Private Lessons ]

Our 55-minutes long Private Lessons are key in refining your dancing skills.  With individualized instruction you’ll learn more quickly and precisely.  Your instructor will help you master the correct posture and how to relate to a partner.  Learning correct technique will speed your progress and boost your confidence, while allowing you to enjoy the sensation of partner dancing!

We offer lots of different Private Lesson Programs from which to choose, and your instructor will tailor a program to your needs.  There is no substitute for working one-on-one with personal instructor to achieve the finer points of dancing.  We have instructors available for Private Lessons 6 days a week, so call now to set up your appointment! 

We require 24 hours notice for cancellation.  All last-minute cancellations will be charged for the lesson.

[ Group Classes ]

Group classes are a great way to get into dancing.  Here, among your peers, you will learn the fundamentals, patterns, and partnering, in a friendly, warm and inviting setting.  Classes maintain a medium pace throughout your training. 

Each 55 minute session will work on one specific dance (either Latin or ballroom), and all students participate by practicing the material presented, rotating partners throughout the session.  

The monthly Group Class Schedule includes a broad variety of dances at every level – from basic beginner through advanced competitive styling.  Classes average 16 to 35 people.

[ Practice Parties ]

Attend one of our vibrant Friday night Practice Parties from 9 to 11 pm.  At 9 pm the studio lights lower and the disco lights burst into action, creating a nightclub ambiance.  With a mix of dynamic Latin, Ballroom and disco music, students get to practice all they have been learning, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.   Staff are on hand to assist and dance with the students. Light refreshments are served.

[ Dance Packages ]

We recommend that all our students take a combination of private, group and party lessons.  Our dance packages are our best deal running.  They are designed to get you moving and into your chosen dance direction in the fastest period of time.  Dance packages are tailored to the individuals needs of each person or couple.  After meeting with the teacher on a free trial lesson, during which the instructor assess your ability and needs, he/she will make a recommendation and customize a dance package for you.

[Children's BIRTHDay Parties]

A novel way to celebrate!  Come to Bethesda Dance Studio where we will entertain the youngsters through fun with music; dancing and conducted musical games.  We custom tailor birthday parties for kids – offer a quick lesson to their level, play games and then  allow a general “dance and prance” time for them to socialize and enjoy refreshments.  You bring the food and beverages, or leave the catering and decoration to us.  We will make it as simple or as elaborate as you wish.

[Club Style Dancing]

Across the divide from “baby boomers” in business suits to “generation X’ers” in jeans and sweats, dancers of all ages are frequenting the thriving dance floors of trendy nightclubs.  It’s the rave of the club social scene.  The most popular club style dances are Salsa, Merengue, Cha Cha, Hustle, Argentine Tango and Swing, with a good many people loving the West Coast Swing and the Lindy Hop.  Bethesda Dance Studio offers lessons for beginners, intermediates and advanced dancers, teaching the trendy maneuvers so you can share in the exciting entertainment dance scene.

[Rentals]

Create your own Dance Party!  Add a special twist to your birthday, graduation, anniversary, bar mitzvah or bat mitzvah, company party, or wedding reception.  Celebrate at the Bethesda Dance Studio.  Our beautiful facility is perfect for dancing and catered functions for up to 200 people.  The studio is available on Saturdays and Sundays for such events.  Weekday and weekend rentals are available for classes, rehearsals, conferences/meetings, photo shoots, auditions etc.
