Willie Hendricken

Willie grew up in Ireland, a country with a proud tradition of music and dance, which impassioned his desire for ballroom dancing. Having studied under the great English coach, Elizabeth Romain, he now holds a Licentiate Degree with "The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance," the world's leading association of ballroom dancing. In addition, he holds a degree in dance with the "North American Dance Teachers Association." Willie enjoys competing all over the United States with partners; together they dance the International Standard and the scintillating American Smooth. Having been an extremely successful pro-am competitor, Willie now enjoys dancing and coaching all levels, both amateur and professional. Not only is he a talented teacher, he has a passion for music and dance that is unsurpassed by most. This is evident in his delightfully creative choreography and fun, easy methods of teaching.

Since Willie incorporated the Bethesda Dance Studio, he has carefully selected and put together a fine international complement of instructors who train with the top coaches in ballroom dancing in the world today.
