Class Levels

Beginner:

This class is perfect for students who have never danced or who have had little or no formal dance instruction. This level provides the new student with the ABC’s of dancing, with a great introduction into partnering skills. It makes dancing as simple as 1-2-3.

Intermediate / Advanced:

This level of instruction is for students who have some knowledge of the basic steps, but have not learnt any complex patterns of routines.

Level 1/ Bronze:

This 6-week introduction course, is offered in all dances, (both ballroom and Latin), on a rotational basis throughout the year. During the 6 weeks students are comprehensively introduced to the basic step patterns of the specific dance. A thorough explanation of the steps and instruction in how to lead or follow, presents the student with the tools needed to begin to enjoy dancing immediately. Our goal centers on having fun while gaining confidence on the floor.

Level 2/ Silver:

Participants must have completed course work in the Level 1/Bronze course, or some equivalent. During this class we continue to develop confidence, build on steps learned, improve posture, strengthen lead or follow, and add a variety of dance steps to increase overall enjoyment.

Level3/ Gold:

This course continues to add more complex patterns and challenging steps with a unique emphasis on proper dance technique to develop character and style on the dance floor. A must for experienced dancers who have a strong desire to broaden or refine their skills. Become the “BEST”.
